Jamestown man charged with DWI after fleeing accident scene

JAMESTOWN — Officers responded to the area of Falconer Street and Woodlawn Avenue at about 11:53 p.m. Saturday for a report of a property damage accident.

Police said the suspect vehicle had fled the scene and was eventually stopped by a witness.

Officers spoke with the operator of the vehicle who was identified as Zachary G. Boardman.

Through investigation, police determined that Boardman was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the city jail.

Boardman was charged with DWI, DWI Per Se and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

He was released with tickets to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
