SOUTHBURY — A 25-year-old man was taken into custody July 30 at approximately 6:00 p.m. on multiple warrants, according to the Southbury Police Department.
Adrian Ajdinoski was arrested on seven warrants for failure to appear and one warrant for engaging police in a pursuit.
The pursuit warrant stemmed from an incident on Dec. 23, 2024, when Ajdinoski accelerated away from police as they attempted to initiate a traffic stop on his vehicle.
When it became apparent to officers that he had no intentions to stop, the pursuit was immediately terminated and an arrest warrant was applied for.
Ajdinoski was held on bonds totaling $328,000.
He was presented in Waterbury Superior Court on July 31.
