EPHRATAH — State Police responded to a report of a Utility Task Vehicle crash off Tilboro Road on July 24.
At approximately 9:17 p.m., troopers responded to the UTV accident on Tilboro Road.
The operator was later identified as Carl R. Gray, 74, of Fort Plain.
Gray had gone off the south side of the roadway into a utility pole.
While being evaluated by EMS, Gray lost consciousness and was transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
On July 25, an autopsy was performed at St. Mary’s Hospital by Dr. Charles Schwartz.
The autopsy determined Gray’s death was a result of injuries sustained during the UTV crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
