LOWELL — Gang Unit officers arrested a juvenile on firearms charges during a patrol in the downtown area July 26.
The juvenile was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, unlawful carrying of a large capacity firearm and resisting arrest.
Officers seized a firearm during the arrest, according to the Lowell Police Department.
The juvenile received charges as a juvenile delinquent.
