VIRGIL — Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of State Route 13 and Douglas Road July 21 at approximately 6:17 a.m. for a property damage motor vehicle crash involving one car.
Officers on scene determined that a box truck towing a trailer, traveling south on State Route 13, traveled off the roadway and overturned on the Elm Tree Golf Course property.
The sole occupant of the box truck was evaluated by EMS on scene.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Town of Virgil Fire Department, TLC Ambulance, and Valu Towing.
