WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested two men on outstanding warrants during separate traffic stops Friday afternoon.
Troopers arrested Christopher Ortiz, 29, of 971 Chalkstone Avenue, Apt. 2, Providence, at 2:46 p.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic simple assault originating from the Providence Police Department.
The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Nooseneck Hill Road.
Ortiz was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and turned over to Providence police.
At 3:05 p.m., troopers arrested Cameron Cabral, 21, of 17 Crescent View Avenue, Riverside, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for disorderly conduct originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.
Cabral’s arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 95.
He was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and turned over to Pawtucket police.
