HADLEY — Officers were called to the area of Honey Pot Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday for the report of two males who had been in a physical altercation outside.
Upon arrival, officers discovered one of the males had been stabbed in the back area with a pair of tree loppers.
After a brief investigation, Edward Kolosewicz of Chesterfield was placed under arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The other involved male was evaluated by Hadley Fire and Action EMS before being transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital for minor lacerations and a puncture wound.
Kolosewicz was also evaluated by medics before being transported to the Hadley Police Department for booking.
He was later transferred to the Eastern Hampshire District Court.
