Schenectady man arrested on stolen property charge in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK — A Schenectady man was arrested Sunday on charges of criminal possession of stolen property after sheriff’s deputies responded to an emergency medical services call.

Vickram Hoolas, 30, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a class E felony, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the assist EMS call at 4:47 p.m. Sunday on state Route 146 in Clifton Park.

The investigation led to Hoolas’ arrest.

Hoolas is accused of knowingly possessing stolen property valued at more than $1,000.

He allegedly possessed an electric bicycle that had been stolen from a store in Schenectady.

Hoolas was released on an appearance ticket pending further proceedings in Clifton Park Town Court.
