MONTVILLE — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects who were caught on camera stealing groceries from a Stop and Shop on July 11.
The theft occurred at approximately 12 p.m. at the store located at 2020 Norwich-New London Turnpike, according to the Montville Police Department.
Surveillance footage shows three unidentified individuals stealing a cart full of groceries.
Two female suspects then went to the side parking lot to wait for a vehicle with a fourth unknown person in the driver’s seat.
The vehicle drove up and the women loaded the groceries into the back seat before the vehicle drove off, leaving the two women behind.
Police were able to obtain a license plate number and have an idea of who drove away with the stolen items.
