SLEEPY HOLLOW — A Sleepy Hollow man is facing felony drug and gun possession charges following a joint investigation by the Westchester County Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Sleepy Hollow Police Department.
Luis Lopez, 46, was arrested Thursday after a search warrant was executed at his apartment at 86 Beekman Ave.
Police seized 73 grams of cocaine, a loaded handgun and $5,500 in cash.
Lopez was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (possession with intent to sell); one count of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree; one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree; and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree.
Lopez was arraigned in Sleepy Hollow Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla.
The case is being prosecuted by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
