STARKEY — Two people have been charged in connection with a break-in at Dundee Central School using a stolen access card, the Yates County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

An eligible youthful offender, 19, of Dundee and an unnamed juvenile, 17, of Himrod entered a locked door at the school on June 10 at about 10:41 p.m., according to investigators.

The pair used a stolen access card to gain entry to the building, deputies said.

The 19-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for third-degree criminal trespass and is scheduled to appear in Town of Starkey Court.

The juvenile was referred to Yates County Probation on charges of criminal trespass and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
