MIDDLESEX — A 69-year-old Rushville man was charged with traffic violations after his vehicle rolled over multiple times on State Route 364 early Tuesday morning.
Albert Carmichael was traveling north on State Route 364 at 3:05 a.m. when he struck a deer, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle then left the roadway and overturned multiple times.
Fire personnel extricated Carmichael from the vehicle.
He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with complaints of left shoulder pain.
Carmichael was charged with speed not reasonable and prudent and consumption or possession of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle.
Deputy A. Newell and Sergeant Chisom responded to the scene.
Middlesex fire and ambulance, Rushville fire and Penn Yan ALS also responded to the crash.
