SOUTHINGTON — A 24-year-old Hartford woman has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Main Street CVS store and a subsequent theft at a Queen Street retailer.

Police responded to CVS at 326 Main St. at 3:50 p.m. June 19 for a robbery that had just occurred.
Investigation revealed that two suspects, an adult male and Love, arrived at the store together in a black 2017 Acura MDX with Connecticut registration.
The male suspect contacted a female employee seeking access to a locked fragrance display case.
When the employee denied access, Love confronted her, kicking and shoving her backward.
Love then forcefully removed a set of keys from a lanyard around the employee’s neck, accessed the fragrance display and loaded more than $2,000 worth of merchandise into a large beach bag.
Both suspects fled to their vehicle and left the area.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
On June 23 at 12:25 p.m., officers were alerted that the suspect vehicle was traveling in the Queen Street area.
Officers located the vehicle parked at Bob’s at 835 Queen St.
Officers observed a female matching the description from the CVS incident exit the store with two large beach bags that appeared to contain merchandise.
As officers approached the woman, she quickly entered the suspect vehicle and fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed.
An officer deployed a pursuit prevention device in the lot, successfully disabling the suspect vehicle’s front passenger side tire as it fled northbound on Queen Street.
The suspect vehicle was later found unoccupied and abandoned in a nearby residential driveway.
The vehicle was seized and searched following execution of a search warrant.
Police confirmed the woman had stolen more than $200 in merchandise from TJ Maxx.
Love was taken into custody July 7 at New Britain Superior Court, where she was being arraigned for a previous robbery arrest.
She was transported to Southington Police Headquarters and processed before being released after posting 7% of her $100,000 court-set bond.
Love was scheduled to appear at New Britain Superior Court on July 21 to answer the charges.
