Batavia police report multiple arrests including burglary, assault charges

BATAVIA — Police have reported multiple arrests over a recent period, including charges ranging from burglary to driving while intoxicated.

Tevin D. Bloom, 31, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was arrested June 20 for second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Bloom allegedly broke into another person’s residence and damaged property inside.

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

Lorenzo D. Snead Jr., 42, of Batavia, was arrested June 10 for second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police allege Snead hit another person in the head with a baseball bat during an altercation on Bank Street.

He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

Philip R. Perry, 38, of Batavia, was arrested June 19 for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing.

Perry allegedly threatened another person with a baseball bat during an altercation on Bank Street.

He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

Ethan S. Howe, 21, of Batavia, was arrested June 17 for second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

Howe allegedly attempted to run from police after officers were called to the McDonald’s on East Main Street for a report of Howe throwing items at cars.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court July 1.

Jade D. Repass, 30, of Oakfield, was arrested June 21 for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Ellicott Street.

He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

Shandell M. Lissow, 37, of Albion, was arrested June 21 for petit larceny.

Lissow allegedly stole merchandise from Dollar General.

She was issued an appearance ticket and also processed on a warrant for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

She was arraigned in CAP Court.

Bishop E. Williams, 32, of Leroy, was arrested June 20 for second-degree harassment.

Williams allegedly punched another person in the face during an altercation on East Main Street.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court June 24.

John A. Romero, 28, of Batavia, was arrested June 21 for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Oak Street.

He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court July 9.

Aaron N. Holley, 27, of Stafford, was arrested June 19 for driving while intoxicated and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Holley was arrested following a traffic stop on West Main Street, where he was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

During the arrest, a metal knuckle knife was located in the vehicle.

Holley was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

Hailey M. Beedham, 23, of Attica, was arrested June 22 for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Main Street.

She was issued several traffic tickets and is due in Batavia City Court July 8.

Michael J. Hilton, 34, of Leroy, was arrested June 21 for petit larceny.

Hilton allegedly stole merchandise from Quicklee’s.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court July 8.

Markis R. Gaines, 28, of Batavia, was arrested June 16 for second-degree harassment.

Gaines allegedly shoved another person during a dispute on Ellicott Street.

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
