FERRISBURGH — A 29-year-old Ferrisburgh woman was charged with simple assault and unlawful mischief following an incident on Greenbush Road on June 27.
Vermont State Police responded to a residence at approximately 7:34 p.m. for a reported assault complaint.
Investigation revealed that Kira M. Degray and Elizabeth Berry, 63, of Addison, were involved in a verbal dispute.
Police said Degray subsequently assaulted Berry and vandalized property inside the residence.
Degray was released on a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court on Aug. 25 at 12:30 p.m. to answer the charges.
