Serious crash in Robbinston sends several to hospital, two in serious condition

ROBBINSTON — Troopers from the Maine State Police Northern Field Troop responded to a serious injury crash on Ridge Road in Robbinston at approximately 4:34 p.m. Wednesday.

According to authorities, the agency was asked to assist the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

Upon arrival, troopers found a black Chevrolet Trax in a ditch with substantial damage to the passenger side.

The vehicle was operated by 19-year-old Aleksa Suddy of Eastport and had five passengers, including 19-year-old Tamara Sockabasin of Perry and four individuals under the age of 18.

All occupants were transported to the hospital.

Three individuals were taken by LifeFlight to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Two of those individuals are listed in serious condition and one is in critical condition.

The remaining occupants have non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under active investigation.
