BATH — A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly assaulting someone on East William Street near Liberty Street.
The victim went to the Bath Police Department around 4 p.m. June 25 to report the assault.
Bath Ambulance responded and evaluated the victim.
Police said the assault was captured on village cameras.
The suspect, Luis Rivera, was found about an hour later walking on Gansevoort Street.
Rivera was taken into custody without incident.
Rivera was charged with third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor.
He was processed and transported to Steuben County Centralized Arraignment, where he was released.
