BATH — Bath Police Officers observed a male sitting outside of a residence on Geneva Street around 6 p.m. June 25 whom officers knew to have an active felony warrant.
Officers approached the subject and took him into custody without incident.
The subject, Justice Crooks, 18, of Bath, had an active warrant for criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony.
The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred June 16 at the Finger Lakes Inn and Suites in the Village of Bath.
Crooks allegedly violated an order of protection during a disturbance that evening.
Crooks has been previously convicted of criminal contempt in the second degree.
Crooks was processed on his arrest warrant and transported to the Steuben County Centralized arraignment where he was subsequently released June 26.
