PLYMPTON — Two people face multiple charges including assault and weapons violations following a disturbance that prompted a multi-agency response early June 23.
Plympton officers responded to Mayflower Road just after midnight for reports of a woman bleeding and screaming for help.
The investigation led officers to a nearby residence where another medical emergency was encountered.
Carver Police, Carver EMS, Massachusetts State Police and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department units were dispatched to assist in securing the scene.
The first individual was charged with assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a person over 60 with serious injury, and assault and battery-domestic.
The second individual was charged with assault and battery serious bodily injury, assault and battery-domestic, possession of a firearm without an FID card, and improper storage of a firearm.
The incident no longer poses a risk to the public.
The first individual remains in custody pending a hearing and the second individual will be arraigned July 3.
