FORT ANN — State Police have arrested three suspects, including a 17-year-old, in connection with a May 22 shooting that left two 19-year-old men dead.
The latest arrest occurred June 24 at about 9:07 a.m. when investigators took a 17-year-old into custody on two counts of second-degree murder.
The juvenile was processed at State Police Latham and arraigned at Washington County Family Court, where he was remanded to a detention center without bail.
Two other suspects were arrested in May following the shooting on Clay Hill Road in Fort Ann.
David M. Larose, 20, of Albany, was taken into custody May 23 at about 12:48 a.m. with assistance from Troy Police.
Larose was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Jordan P. Johnson, 18, of Albany, was arrested May 23 at about 10:00 p.m. with assistance from Albany Police.
Johnson faces two counts of second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.
Both men were arraigned at Washington County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and remanded to Washington County Correctional Facility without bail.
The victims were identified as Adam M. Darrah, 19, of Glens Falls, and Marcus J. Macaulay, 19, of Glens Falls.
State Police and Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clay Hill Road at about 9:00 p.m. May 22 for reports of shots fired with individuals injured.
Troopers found two victims in the roadway with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
