Cooperstown man arrested on burglary, criminal mischief charges in Roseboom

ROSEBOOM — New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Jason M. Hubbell, age 32 of Cooperstown, on June 23 for the class C felony of burglary in the second degree, misdemeanor of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and misdemeanor of resisting arrest.

Troopers were dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Whiteman Road in Roseboom.

An investigation revealed that before troopers arrived, Hubbell kicked in the front door of a residence, broke a secondary door then drove his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle before leaving the area.

Troopers were able to locate Hubbell near State Highway 166 and County Highway 52 in Middlefield where he resisted arrest.

Hubbell was ultimately taken into custody and later transported to the Otsego County Jail for centralized arraignment.
