BRISTOL — Bristol police arrested a man Tuesday after he made threatening social media posts directed at the CEO of Bristol Health.
Richard Stark was taken into custody at approximately 4:48 p.m. Tuesday following concerns raised by Bristol Health officials about his online posts.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Stark based on the threats made toward the hospital system’s chief executive officer.
Stark was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.
He is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond set by the court.
Stark is scheduled to appear Wednesday in New Britain Superior Court.
The incident was assigned case number 25-27569 by the Bristol Police Department.
