LOWELL — Police officers have recovered four guns in recent weeks as part of ongoing patrol efforts throughout the city.
Three of the weapons were seized this weekend, according to the Lowell Police Department.
Officers from the Patrol Division, Gang Unit and Neighborhood Response Unit were involved in the gun recoveries.
The police department said the seizures were part of efforts to patrol the city and improve public safety.
No additional details about the circumstances of the recoveries were immediately available.
