SALINA — State Police responded to the Onondaga Lake Parkway June 20 at 2:03 p.m. for a vehicle that struck the CSX railroad bridge.
Troopers arrived on scene and investigation determined that Anthony J. Harrison, age 29, of Syracuse was operating a 2020 Hino box truck south on the Onondaga Lake Parkway.
Harrison failed to adhere to signs banning commercial vehicles and warnings of a low bridge.
Harrison continued south and collided with the CSX railroad bridge.
Harrison and a passenger were not injured in the crash.
The New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit responded to the scene.
Harrison was issued multiple traffic tickets including 10 counts of NYS VTL 1110 0A (Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device).
