Manchester police arrest man on drug distribution charges

MANCHESTER — The East Central Narcotics Task Force, in coordination with the Drug Enforcement Administration Hartford Regional Office, executed multiple search warrants at 88-7 Oak Street on Thursday as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The targeted operation focused on 25-year-old Derrick Lee of Manchester.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Lee’s residence, located at 88-7 Oak Street.

During the search, investigators recovered a quantity of illicit narcotics, including 10 grams of raw fentanyl and 10 grams of cocaine in both powder and crack forms.

The substances were packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.

Lee was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, powder cocaine, and crack cocaine, operating a drug factory, and interfering with police.

Lee was held on a $250,000 cash/surety bond and was arraigned Friday morning at G.A. 12 in Manchester.
