VICTORY MILLS — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office charged two juveniles Sunday with arson and criminal trespass following an investigation into a fire at a mill in the village.

The juveniles face charges of arson in the 3rd degree, a class C felony, and criminal trespass in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, according to sheriff’s officials.

The charges stem from a fire that occurred at the mill on Saturday, June 1.

Authorities accuse the juveniles of intentionally damaging the building by starting a fire and of knowingly and unlawfully remaining in a building that was fenced in or otherwise enclosed to exclude intruders.

Both juveniles were released to their guardians pending further action with Saratoga County Probation.
