BATH — Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard announced Tuesday that investigators arrested Melissa A. Crane, 39, of Cider Hill Road in Hammondsport following a theft report from a Town of Urbana retail establishment.
Authorities allege that Crane stole more than $7,000 from her employer between July and September 2024.
Crane was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, a class D felony.
She was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
