BELVIDERE — Vermont State Police responded to an ATV crash on Back Road at 5:30 p.m. Monday that left two people injured.
Troopers arrived at the scene to find that both the juvenile operator and a passenger had sustained non-life-threatening injuries when their 2004 Yamaha Bruin ATV struck a tree.
Investigation revealed the ATV failed to navigate a turn in the road before the collision.
Both the operator, who was wearing a helmet, and the passenger were transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
The ATV sustained damage to its front end.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
