FORT ANN — A 20-year-old Albany man has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred Thursday night in Fort Ann.
David M. Larose was taken into custody at about 12:48 a.m. Friday with the assistance of the Troy Police Department, according to State Police.
Larose faces two counts of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The victims have been identified as Adam M. Darrah and Marcus J. Macaulay, both 19-year-old residents of Glens Falls.
Both victims were pronounced dead at Glens Falls Hospital late Thursday evening after sustaining life-threatening gunshot wounds.
State Police and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office initially responded to Clay Hill Road in Fort Ann at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday following reports of shots fired.
Responding troopers found the two victims lying in the roadway.
Larose was transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility after processing at State Police Granville.
He is scheduled for arraignment Friday evening at the Washington County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
Clay Hill Road was closed between State Route 4 and Dewey Bridge Road during the investigation.
