MAIDSTONE — An 81-year-old Maidstone man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly firing multiple shots toward his neighbor’s residence, Vermont State Police said.
Larry Mclain was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment following the incident on Huntington Road.
At approximately 2:40 p.m., state police received a call from Marcel Sirois, 63, who reported that his neighbor had shot at his home multiple times.
Troopers investigating the incident determined that Mclain had fired a gun several times in the direction of Sirois’ residence.
No bullets struck the home and no injuries were reported, according to police.
Mclain was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident.
He was held without bail at Northern State Correctional Facility.
