Person in mental health crisis airlifted from Dunstable Town Hall

DUNSTABLE — A person experiencing a mental health emergency outside Dunstable Town Hall was airlifted to a Boston hospital Tuesday with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Dunstable Police Department received reports of the individual at 12:10 p.m. outside the municipal building at 511 Main St.

The person, who had self-inflicted injuries, was initially transported by Trinity Ambulance to an area hospital.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the individual was then transferred to a Boston hospital via medical helicopter.

Police officials stated there was no active threat to Town Hall employees or residents in the area.
