UTICA — A man was shot in the arm and leg while sitting in his vehicle on the 800 block of Court Street, according to Utica Police.
The incident occurred May 17 at approximately 1 a.m. when Utica Police and Fire units were dispatched to a residence on the 800 block of Waverly Place.
Investigators learned that after sustaining the injuries, the victim was driven to the Waverly Place location.
The wounded man was subsequently transported to Wynn Hospital for treatment.
The Major Crimes Unit is handling the investigation, and police say they are exploring all aspects of how the injuries were obtained.
