GREENE — A Pennsylvania man wanted on a fugitive warrant was arrested in the town of Greene after authorities found him hiding in a motorhome, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office said.

Justin S. Thompson, 42, was taken into custody without incident on May 14 after detectives learned of his warrant in the early morning hours.

Authorities were advised that Thompson was considered armed and dangerous, possibly in possession of firearms.

The Sheriff’s Office narrowed down Thompson’s location to a property in Greene, where law enforcement searched numerous buildings before finding him in a motorhome on the property.

Thompson was arraigned in Chenango County Court on a Fugitive from Justice charge stemming from a Flight to Avoid Apprehension warrant issued in Pennsylvania.

He was ordered held at the Chenango County Correctional Facility until extradition to Pennsylvania.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New York State Police NICS Unit and CSU during the operation.
