Kingston woman charged with DWI in Rosendale

ROSENDALE — A Kingston woman was arrested Sunday after police responded to a 911 call about an erratic driver.

Kayla Johnson, 32, was charged with driving while intoxicated following an investigation at the scene on April 27.

Johnson faces multiple charges including driving while intoxicated and operating with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, both misdemeanors.

She was also charged with aggravated DWI with children in the vehicle under Leandra’s Law, a felony.

The Rosendale Police Department processed Johnson and released her on an appearance ticket.

She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Rosendale Court at a later date.
