HARTWICK — A Mooers Forks man faces felony charges after deputies found him allegedly driving while intoxicated on a public roadway in Hartwick.
John R. Hicks, 35, was arrested May 11 and charged with felony driving while intoxicated due to a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Hicks was also charged with refusing to take a breath test and having an open container in his vehicle.
Deputies discovered Hicks was allegedly intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle during an investigation in the Town of Hartwick.
Following his arrest and processing, Hicks was released with uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets.
He is scheduled to appear in Hartwick Town Court at a later date.
