Bristol police arrest 7 in connection with Wolcott gun shop burglary

BRISTOL — Seven individuals, including three juveniles, were arrested Thursday morning in connection with an April 18 burglary at Sportsmen’s Outpost in Wolcott, according to the Bristol Police Department.

The arrests were made by members of the Bristol Police Department Patrol Division with assistance from Wolcott Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Three juveniles were arrested on multiple charges and released to Wolcott Police, where they face additional charges.

Juvenile 1 was charged with conspiracy to steal a firearm, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle, illegal transfer of a firearm, illegal discharge of a firearm, illegal possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, and operating without a license.

Juvenile 2 was charged with risk of injury.

Juvenile 3 faces charges including conspiracy to steal a firearm, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle, criminal trover, larceny of a motor vehicle, illegal transfer of a firearm, operating without a license, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and tampering with evidence.

Four adults were also arrested and are being held in Bristol Police custody.

Alvin Martinez, 45, of Bristol was charged with illegal transfer of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, tampering with evidence, and operating while under suspension.

Shane Erdmann, 20, of Bristol was charged with illegal transfer of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, tampering with evidence, and improper storage of a firearm.

Makiah Henry, 18, of Bristol was charged with illegal transfer of a firearm and tampering with evidence.

Jessica Henry, 36, of Bristol was charged with tampering with evidence.
