NORTHVILLE — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company, Northville Fire Department, and Mayfield Fire Department responded to a water rescue on Northville Little Lake at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
A report indicated an individual was in the water while a kayaker attempted to assist.
Police and Northampton Ambulance also responded to the scene.
Authorities later confirmed the individual had reached shore safely.
Mayfield and Broadalbin units were initially told to stand by before being released from the scene by Northville officials.
