Police seek public’s help in New Britain stabbing

HARTFORD — Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a stabbing that occurred at the New Britain Fastrack station.

Troopers from Troop H responded to the station at approximately 8:36 p.m. on April 4 following reports of a stabbing incident.

Investigators determined that a physical altercation between the suspect and victim culminated in the victim being stabbed in the back.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities have developed information on a person of interest but have exhausted all other means of identification.
