Police seek help finding missing Montville woman

MONTVILLE — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman who was last seen leaving her family’s residence on May 1.

Shanna Sarpu, 38, was reported missing by her family after she departed toward an unknown location, according to the Montville Police Department.

Authorities believe Sarpu is driving a 2005 black BMW with Connecticut registration BH63110.

Police said Sarpu may be with her boyfriend, identified only as Dante, last name unknown.

Sarpu is known to frequent various hotels in the Groton area and also visits Hartford, officials said.

Anyone with information about Sarpu’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Montville Police Department at 860-848-7510.
