NORTH BRANFORD — Police arrested a Branford man Thursday in connection with a fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of Foxon Road and Doral Farms Road in March.
Dylan Ward, 54, faces multiple charges including second-degree manslaughter and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
The crash on March 5 resulted in the death of Diane Golia, according to North Branford police.
Ward also faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under suspension, failure to drive in the proper lane, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Police held Ward on a $250,000 court-set bond before his arraignment at 10 a.m. Thursday at 121 Elm Street in New Haven.
The North Branford Police Department’s investigative team worked on the case with support from regional law enforcement partners and the New Haven State’s Attorney’s Office.
