Malden man arrested for driving violation, drug possession

MALDEN — A 36-year-old Malden man was arrested following a traffic stop for a criminal motor vehicle infraction, according to local police.

The man was found to be driving with an invalid license when he was pulled over by Officer Cameron Selfridge.

During the stop, police discovered the suspect was also in possession of several individually packaged bags of a rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine.

Authorities seized a small amount of U.S. currency along with the suspected drugs.

The man was charged with the driving violation and drug possession offenses, police said.
