COOPERSTOWN — A Hartwick man was arrested Friday after deputies discovered he had six active bench warrants when he attempted to enter the Otsego County jail to retrieve bail money.
Justin M. Ingalls, 42, was taken into custody May 2 by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office during a warrant investigation.
Deputies apprehended Ingalls as he tried to enter the jail facility to collect bail money.
The bench warrants had been issued by various courts within Otsego County.
Ingalls appeared before the Centralized Arraignment Judge following his arrest.
He was ordered held at the Otsego County Jail on $17,000 cash bail.
