BATAVIA — Two Batavia teens were arrested for allegedly damaging a window and a vehicle on State Street, according to police.
Nathiel D. Wilson III, 19, and Ashton T. McWethy-Thornley, 18, were charged with third-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree conspiracy on April 22.
Wilson was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail, while McWethy-Thornley was arraigned and released.
In a separate incident on May 4, Karen B. Armstrong, 48, and Ashlee S. Thomas, 28, both of Batavia, were arrested for endangering the welfare of a child following an altercation on Denio Street.
Armstrong allegedly kicked a 13-year-old girl, and Thomas allegedly slapped another person who was holding a young child.
Thomas faces an additional charge of second-degree harassment.
Both women were issued appearance tickets and are due in court on May 6.
Andrew R. Del Gandio, 31, of Rochester, was arrested for DWI on April 27 following a traffic stop on East Main Street.
Del Gandio was issued several traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
James R. Briggs, 49, of Corning, was arrested on April 30 on two bench warrants and two arrest warrants.
Briggs was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
Nankumar McLaulin, 32, of Hicksville, NY, was arrested on a warrant on April 24 after allegedly failing to appear in court for a misdemeanor traffic ticket issued in December 2023.
McLaulin turned himself in, was arraigned in Batavia City Court, and released.
John W. Biaselli, 56, of Batavia, was arrested on a warrant on April 24 after failing to appear in court on a petit larceny charge from February 28.
Biaselli had allegedly stolen merchandise from Dollar General.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
Shelby L. Fryer, 29, of Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant on April 24 after initially being charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on December 17, 2024.
Fryer was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
