DELHI — A Stamford woman was arrested Monday on multiple drunk driving charges following a minor accident in a village parking lot.
Michelle Andrews, 36, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of .18% or higher, driving while intoxicated (first offense), and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or higher, according to Delhi Police.
The arrest came after officers responded to a report of a minor property damage accident in a parking lot on Main Street.
Police determined Andrews was impaired at the scene, and subsequent chemical testing revealed her blood alcohol concentration exceeded .18%, more than twice the legal limit.
Andrews was processed and released with traffic summonses.
She is scheduled to appear in Delhi Town Court at a later date.
