GUILDERLAND — State Police of Latham, with the assistance of the Guilderland Police Department, arrested Brittany B. Alvarado, 31, of East Schodack, for Reckless Endangerment in the second degree, Menacing in the second degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations on April 26.
Troopers responded to the area of the Crossgates Mall parking lot in Guilderland at about 2:26 p.m. for the report of a road rage incident involving a handgun.
The investigation determined that during a road rage incident on I-90 in Albany, Alvarado, who is not known to the victim, allegedly displayed what appeared to be a handgun.
During the reported incident, a child under the age of 16 was in Alvarado’s vehicle.
An imitation weapon was later located within Alvarado’s vehicle, matching the victim’s description of the weapon displayed.
Alvarado was arrested and transported to SP Latham for processing.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Albany City Court on May 12 and released.
