Rock City Falls man arrested on drug charges, multiple felonies

ROCK CITY FALLS — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday the arrest of a 44-year-old man following a lengthy investigation into illegal drug possession and sales throughout the county.

Warren J. Daniels of Rock City Falls faces multiple felony charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the 2nd degree.

Authorities say Daniels is accused of knowingly possessing a hallucinogenic substance weighing five grams or more, a stimulant weighing one gram or more, and black tar heroin.

The suspect also faces misdemeanor charges for possessing an electronic dart gun and forged driver’s licenses, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials revealed Daniels had several outstanding warrants for his arrest on charges including criminal mischief, identity theft, and grand larceny.

Following his arraignment before Judge Timothy M. Brown in Milton Town Court, Daniels was released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.

The arrest came after what authorities described as a lengthy investigation into illegal drug activities throughout Saratoga County.
