OSWEGATCHIE — A 42-year-old Ogdensburg man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a business and damaging property in the early morning hours of April 29.
Brain J. O’Marah faces charges of third-degree burglary, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
State Police responded to a burglary in progress at approximately 2:20 a.m. at Ivy Ridge on State Route 37 in the town of Oswegatchie.
Investigators determined O’Marah had entered the premises without permission and was damaging property by cutting copper pipes.
O’Marah was transported to State Police barracks in Ogdensburg for processing.
Following arraignment in Ogdensburg City Court, he was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
