Billerica police make 4 drug arrests, seize over 100 grams of narcotics

BILLERICA — Billerica Police Department officers and detectives have made four arrests on felony-level drug charges following seizures of more than 100 grams of cocaine and fentanyl, Chief Roy Frost announced Tuesday.

The arrests occurred throughout March and April in the Pinehurst, Nuttings Lake, North Billerica and Town Center neighborhoods.

Each seizure resulted in one arrest, with all four defendants facing drug trafficking charges.

The officers involved in the seizures and arrests include Detective Lt. Sean Coffey, Detective Sgt. Gilbert Ynostroza, Detective Chris DeVito, Detective Robert Simmons, Officer Justin Guanci, and Officer Joseph Zuccaro.

Police officials noted the arrests were made during regular police operations and were not part of any specific targeted initiative.
