VESTAL — A 46-year-old Vestal man was arrested Monday on child pornography charges following a police search of his home.
Patrick Van-Kuren was taken into custody at the Greater Binghamton Airport by members of the Vestal Police Department Detective Division.
Van-Kuren was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony under New York State Penal Law 263.16.
The arrest came after Vestal police executed a search warrant at a residence in Vestal on Saturday, March 8.
During the search, officers seized numerous electronics and electronic storage devices.
The New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit assisted in analyzing the seized items and discovered images of children performing sexual acts, according to police.
Van-Kuren was released on an appearance ticket as required by the New York State Bail Reform Law.
