BRISTOL — A 22-year-old Bristol man died after being ejected from his vehicle in a single-car crash early Tuesday morning, police said.
Officers responded to the area of Witches Rock Road at Cove Road at 12:51 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found a male driver who had been ejected from the vehicle with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Officers began lifesaving measures until emergency medical services arrived and took over care.
The driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at an area hospital.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to police.
The Bristol Police Department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (START) processed the scene, and the roadway remained closed until 7 a.m.
